Brian Roberts And Humble Harve....The Day Radio Died!
The history of American Radio as told by two of the most famous voices in broadcasting. No punches pulled here. True stories told by the men who lived them. Check out what they describe as the decline of American Radio and the reasons leading to that demise. This show was posted on BluePower in the year 2000. Since that time, things have become much worse. Clear Channel alone has been allowed to purchase over 1500 radio stations in the USA. This much power in the hands of one conglomerate can be devastating to free radio in general. This is already being proven. So much for the seven station rule that was upheld until this last administration destroyed the agreement and allowed corporate monopolies to run rampant.

With out a doubt HUMBLE HARVE is the greates DJ in the world, he got me through my traumas when I was in Santa Monica High in the 60's Where can I hear him now in So. Ca.
Thanks,

I was 13 years old living in the Los Angeles Area (North Hollywood). Both Humble Harv and Brian Roberts were on my favorite radio station KUTE 102. KUTE played all the great music such as Cameo,Rose Royce,A Taste Of Honey. And to this Date all I listen to now is old school funk and the really hard to find and out of print, or I have to purchase it from Japan stuff. I also remember Humbel Harv used to hang out at the arcade in N. Hollywood when he would get off work, He would play pinball. I forgot where it was because I now live in Sacramento.
